Vivacious 2009 Racy and intense combining fresh aromas of apple peel, pear, lemon, chalk and floral notes. The palate is full of zesty citrus – lemon, lime and blood orange with a long spicy, mineral finish.
Vino Grigio 2009 Crisp and fresh with aromas of peach, orange sherbet, grapefruit, pear and complex savoury lees notes. The zippy palate has intense citrus, spice, mineral, apples and green melon notes with a very long mineral finish.
Vivre la Vie 2007 Rich and structured with aromas and flavours of ripe plum, black cherry, Christmas cake, cocoa and burlap. The full body and concentrated flavours are supported by ripe, dusty tannins giving this wine classic ageing potential.
Voluptuous 2007 Built for ageing with structured, ripe tannins and intensity and complexity. Aromas of cassis, damson plum, burlap, chocolate and orange lead to a full and rich palate of chocolate covered cherry, brown sugar, mineral, sage brush, coffee and cassis.
Voluptuous 2006 Barrel aged for 18 months in 1/3 new French Oak complete with malolactic fermentation in barrel. 67%Merlot and 33% Cabernet Franc for this vintage is harvested from our Boothe Road Vineyard, a site with an amphitheatre shape and southern aspect overlooking the village of Naramata. This full-bodied blend is built for aging with structured, ripe tannins giving its intensity and complexity. Tannins start filling the mouth in a distinguished chocolate cassis and rich plum coating. A spice - chocolate and red fruit such as a succulent covered cherry, brown sugar, mineral, sagebrush, and coffee finishes the well rounded old world style wine.
Voluptuous 2005 A delicious blend of 67% Merlot and 33% Cabernet Franc, 100% barrel aged for 18 months in 1/3 new French oak complete with malolactic fermentation to add complexity. Fruit for this vintage is harvested from our Boothe Road Vineyard, a site with an amphitheatre shape and southern aspect overlooking the village of Naramata. This full-bodied blend shows warm dark fruit aromas of plum, cassis, and blueberry laced with chocolate, vanillin, and spice. Tannins coat the mouth in a dusty, cocoa like texture forming the background for the complex spice, chocolate, and red fruit flavors. A long toasty finish complete the seduction of the senses.
Viognier 2008 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- Intense and ripe aromas of baked apricot tart, jasmine, baking spice and peach. The pallet is concentrated and rich with sun warm apricot, short bread and the classic viscosity for which Viognier is know.
Vino Grigio 2008 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- Our beautiful Home Lot Vineyard is located on Naramata Road. The hand-picked Pinot Gris travels only ¼ km to the winery where it ferments and ages in stainless steel to preserve its intense fruit aromas and flavours. A complex combination of melon, peach, floral and papaya with undertones of chalk and stone. Ripe and rich yet still refreshing with peach, spice, pear, blood orange and a lingering mineral finish.
Vivacious 2008 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- Predominantly Pinot Blanc, with a splash of Pinot Gris for complexity, sourced from the rocky soils in our Home Lot Vineyard high up on the Naramata Bench. Both tank and barrel fermentation were used with additional layers of flavour from lees stirring and partial malolactic fermentation. Refreshing and zingy with aromas of pear, melon, apple peel, lemon and the savory influence of lees. A long racy palate combines intense minerality with passion fruit, nectarine and subtle use of oak.
Vino Grigio 2007 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- This Pinot Gris was sourced from our Home Lot Vineyard located on Naramata Road. Full treatment in stainless steel from fermentation to bottle unleashes the fruit this wine is respected for. A bouquet rich with apple, melon, fennel and spice with floral notes all around. Pear, green melons and citrus support a full round mid palate with a fresh long finish.
Vivacious 2007 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- This blend combines tank and barrel fermented sur lie style Pinot Blanc (96%) with a hint of Pinot Gris (4%). Both varietals are grown on our Homelot Vineyard situated in the rocky soils higher up on the Naramata Bench. Vanillin, spice, apple skin, citrus, and floral aromas are followed by a crisp apple, mineral finish, complete with seamlessly integrated oak.
Viognier 2007 --::-- SOLD OUT --::-- Limit of 2 bottles per person (restaurants please contact winery directly) Handcrafted from our Orlando vineyard the vines are protected by hedges and a rock bluff, providing a microclimate with warm days and cool nights which develop the intense flavours and fragrances typical of Viognier. The wine is the colour of sunshine and has fresh aromas of ripe peaches, apricots, honeysuckle, and citrus. The palate is full and rich with a cleansing mineral component that lingers on the finish.
